At the Kuhio Beach Hula Mound, diagonally across Kalakaua Ave. from Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach hotel at Uluniu Ave. FREE, outdoors, casual, seating on the grass; beach chairs, mats, etc. allowed. Cameras welcome. Attended by kamaaina (local residents) and malihini (visitors) alike. Presented by Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa, Hawaii Tourism Authority, City & County of Honolulu and Waikiki Improvement Association.

Free, family-friendly evening of art and music at HiSAM! First Friday evening of each month. Admission is always free.  6:00 – 9:00 PM, ground floor and second floor of the No 1. Capitol District building (250 South Hotel St., corner of Richards and S. Hotel). Free and open to the public. HiSAM galleries will be open (admission is always free). Parking available across the street in the Alii Place building (enter at 1099 Alakea St., cash only) or metered street parking in the area. $4 valet parking at the Richards St. entrance gate. What should I bring?
Lawn chairs or a blanket. Please be considerate of others, blankets and low rise beach chairs up front, taller lawn chairs towards the back.

Picnic dinner or snacks.

Non-alcoholic beverages (please note alcohol is NOT permitted in the park).
