Hula Kahiko Ma Helumoa

The impressive performance schedule features halau hula (hula schools) that have competed at the annual Merrie Monarch Festival and showcase a variety of traditions unique to their own halau. Every Saturday, hula kahiko is showcased with a halau hula and their olapa (dancers) performing traditional hula where drumming and chanting are the accompaniment. Wahiawa Pineapple Festival – Plantation Days Hawaiian Ways

The Wahiawa Pineapple Festival will be coming to town on May 4th, 10am – 6pm at the Wahiawa District Park. FREE for the public!

Down shift and enjoy live entertainment, food trucks, try your skill and might at competitions including tug of war and paper plane flying contest or submit your Pineapple infused dessert to be judged for prizes. Visit the Blue Zones booth, craft booths ,and a mini resource fair! Keiki and Kupuna can get their IDs. Adults can receive health screenings and learn about available services and resources.
